Restoring Connections is a place based environmental education program designed to enhance and increase students connection with their local natural environment. The first term of this two term project focuses on curating a toolbox of teaching skills, shadowing field trips to Mt. Pisgah, and developing a curriculum. The second term is spent implementing the newly created curriculum. Creating a lasting connection to place has always been and will always be the overarching theme of the Restoring Connections program.
